GIVING BACK
We are proud to have the opportunity to support our local communities, charities, schools, & nonprofits. Since starting our Community Referral Program in the Spring of 2020, we have contributed over $66,000 to local organizations. Thanks to your referrals during the 1st quarter of 2025, we were able to partner with Brother Bryan Mission, the oldest rescue mission in Birmingham. BBM serves the economically, emotionally, and spiritually impoverished in the Central Alabama area. Jim Ethridge with BBM visited our sales meeting earlier this month and accepted a donation check for $2,400. Thanks for your support of Brother Bryan Mission!
For the second quarter of 2025, we are looking forward to helping The Red Barn with your continued help and support. The mission of The Red Barn is to provide educational, therapeutic, and equine-assisted programs benefiting individuals with disabilities and special circumstances, especially those living in low-income families. Here We Grow Again
Since our last email update, we have expanded our team once again, with the addition of Lesa Clark as Loan Officer Assistant. In this position, Lesa will play an essential part in the mortgage process. Her role is to assist our loan officers by ordering and reviewing supporting documents, along with other tasks to help the processors prepare mortgage loans for underwriting and closing. Lesa has a strong background in office management, residential lending, financial record-keeping, and client relations. She has experience in mortgage lending and real estate sales, with a comprehensive understanding of industry-specific processes. We’re SO EXCITED to have her on board!

We just wrapped up Awards Season for the real estate and mortgage industries, and thanks to your referrals and business, we have been celebrating some recent accolades here at Method Mortgage. This time of year is fun and inspiring because we celebrate the support and collaboration across the real estate industry. Our business is built on people and relationships, and we enjoy celebrating that with you.
NATIONAL MORTGAGE NEWS released their annual Best Companies to Work For awards just a few weeks ago. They assembled their list of the Top 36 companies in the mortgage space across the entire country. The results were based on employee feedback, surveys, reviews, and employer responses regarding benefits and policies. Thanks to the amazing team here at Method Mortgage, we are proud to announce that we were named one of the Best Mortgage Companies to Work for in 2025. In fact, out of the 36 companies on the list, we landed 1st nationally for the Best Small Mortgage Companies to Work For and 2nd for the Best Mortgage Companies to Work For overall!
AMPA AWARDS
We value our involvement in local and trade organizations and last month, Jeff Henderson, Frances Mayhall, and I represented Method Mortgage at the Alabama Mortgage Professionals Association (AMPA) annual awards banquet. Our team enjoyed hearing from industry experts on current trends, regulatory updates, and the future of the mortgage industry. It was an educational experience that will improve our practices and enhance our service to our clients.
Method Mortgage was honored to receive recognition from AMPA for being one of the TOP Mortgage Companies in the State of Alabama for 2024. Look forward to even more in 2025!
WING DING
After a one-year hiatus, Method Mortgage returned this past weekend to the Vestavia Hills Wing Ding and the people have spoken! Method served up our bacon wrapped honey bourbon barbecue wings, which were a fan favorite!! The event had some very strong teams and stiff competition, but in the end, our team brought home FIRST PLACE in the overall voting for the People’s Choice Award. A BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers and everyone who stopped by our tent to sample the wings and say hello. We’re already excitedly planning for next year!
