Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) — Method Mortgage
Method Mortgage is growing, and we’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to support our top-producing loan officers. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys working directly with clients, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience from application to closing.
What You’ll Do
- Support one to two high-volume loan officers with day-to-day operations
- Manage loan files from application to closing
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and outstanding customer service throughout the loan process
- Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation
- Coordinate with real estate agents, attorneys, title companies, insurance agents, underwriters, and internal teams to keep transactions on track
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of files before submission
- Track deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding items
- Work with numbers daily — reviewing income documentation, calculating figures, and verifying accuracy
- Complete the mortgage loan originator (MLO) licensing process to handle tasks that require licensure

MLO Licensing
Within 90 days of hire, you’ll begin the process of obtaining your mortgage loan originator (MLO) license through the NMLS. Method Mortgage covers all course, exam, and licensing fees, and provides paid study time. Candidates must be able to meet NMLS background and credit requirements.
