As a Founding Partner and Senior Loan Officer at Method Mortgage, LLC, Roger Steur is currently working with clients to help them meet their mortgage needs utilizing a variety of products, including fixed rate, FHA, VA, adjustable rate mortgages, home equity loans, and construction loans for new homes and renovations. He and the other partners manage this growing business, which has been recognized with many awards, including, being recognized as one of the top mortgage companies by the Alabama Mortgage Professional Association in each of the past five years, recognized as a top place to work in the US by Mortgage Professional America Magazine for 2019, as the Vestavia Hill Chamber of Commerce Service Business of the Year in 2014 and most recently as a top small mortgage company to work by the National Mortgage News for 2020-2023.

Mr. Steur has worked in the banking and finance industry since 2000, helping customers with a variety of needs, including investment strategies, mortgages, construction loans and insurance. He previously served as a senior loan officer, as well as the manager of construction lending at a large regional mortgage company. During his career, he has received numerous distinctions, including Rookie of the Year, and the President’s Club award for the levels of quality service he has provided to his clients. He is a graduate of Leadership Vestavia and has been involved in the Birmingham Home Builders Association.

He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and is a member of the Birmingham chapter of the Wake Forest Alumni Club. He has been quoted in numerous articles covering mortgages, real estate and finance in the following publications: The Birmingham News, the Alabama Mortgage Press, the Tennessee Mortgage Press, the Georgia Mortgage Press, the Louisiana Mortgage Press, and the Texas Mortgage Press. Additionally, he has served as a speaker at new realtor training classes in Birmingham.

Mr. Steur is actively involved in the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce, having previously served as the Vice Chair of Programming, Chairman of the Board, Chairman of the Vestavia Hills Chamber Foundation and as a member of the Chamber Board of Directors. Roger and his wife have 2 children and reside in Vestavia Hills, where they are members of Vestavia Hills Methodist Church.
