As a Partner and Senior Loan Officer at Method Mortgage, LLC, Roger Steur is currently working with clients to help meet their mortgage needs utilizing a variety of products, including fixed rate, FHA, VA, adjustable rate mortgages, home equity loans, and construction loans for new homes and renovations. He and the other founding partners manage this growing business, which has been recognized as a top mortgage originator in the Birmingham area in recent years.
Mr. Steur previously served as a senior loan officer, as well as the manager of Construction Lending at a large regional mortgage company. He has worked in the banking and finance industry for more than a decade, helping customers with a variety of needs including investment strategies, mortgages, construction loans and insurance. During his career he has received numerous distinctions, including Rookie of the Year, and the President’s Club award for the levels of quality service he has provided to his clients. He is a graduate of Leadership Vestavia and has been involved in the Birmingham Home Builders Association.
He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and is a member of the Birmingham chapter of the Wake Forest Alumni Club. He has been quoted in numerous articles dealing covering mortgages, real estate and finance in the following publications: The Birmingham News, the Alabama Mortgage Press, the Tennessee Mortgage Press, the Georgia Mortgage Press, the Louisiana Mortgage Press, and the Texas Mortgage Press. Additionally, he has served as a speaker at new realtor training classes in Birmingham.
Mr. Steur is actively involved in the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce. Roger and his wife have 2 children and reside in Vestavia Hills, where they are members of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.
