Happy Awards Season! This time of year is always inspiring because we celebrate the collaboration across the real estate industry in fun, supportive ways. Awards Season for the real estate and mortgage industries is going strong, and thanks to your referrals and business, we have been celebrating some recent accolades here at Method Mortgage.

NATIONAL MORTGAGE NEWS released their annual Best Companies to Work For awards just a few weeks ago. They assembled their list of the Top 48 companies in the mortgage space across the entire country. The results were based on employee feedback, surveys, reviews, and employer responses regarding benefits and policies. Thanks to the incredible team here at Method Mortgage, we are proud to announce that we were named one of the Best Mortgage Companies to Work for in 2023. In fact, out of the 48 companies on the list, we landed 2nd for the Best Small Mortgage Companies to work for and 7th for the Best Mortgage Companies to Work for overall!

AMPA AWARDS – Our team had a great time at the Alabama Mortgage Professionals Association’s Annual Awards Luncheon. In large part to your referrals and as a testament to the incredible team here, Method Mortgage received the 1st Place Award for Top Birmingham Area Mortgage Broker. Jeff Henderson also received individual recognition from AMPA for being one of the TOP 20 Alabama Loan Officers in Loan Count & Volume. Big Congrats to Jeff and our entire team!

GIVING BACK

Community Referral Program – We are proud to have the opportunity to support our local communities, charities, schools & nonprofit organizations. Because of your referrals during the 1st quarter of 2023, Method Mortgage was able to donate $2,850 to the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB. Our very own Loan Officer, Lizzie Bonhaus, accepted the donation check on behalf of the organization since she sits on the Young Supporters Board. At our sales meeting, Lizzie shared how our support is critical to the life-saving work done by the more than 400 scientists and physicians at the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center.

By investing in programs and research, we have the opportunity to make a transformative impact in the lives of cancer patients through support of groundbreaking research, innovative cancer care, and prevention programs. 19th Annual Chili Cookoff – Our Team was excited to participate in The Exceptional Foundation Chili Cookoff on March 4th! ! The event had gorgeous weather, a great turnout, and lots of delicious entries from over 130+ teams this year. Our grilled cheese and chili were a hit! We were glad to again participate in this beloved annual fundraiser that directly benefits The Exceptional Foundation’s programs for exceptional adults and youth.

Method Bracket Challenge – Thanks to everyone who showed up for our first Bracket Challenge Watch Party on March 16th to kick off March Madness and the NCAA basketball tournament. We enjoyed a delicious tailgating menu of grilled burgers, snacks, & beverages while watching the games live on our big screens!

SAVE THE DATE for Wing Ding! – Join us SATURDAY, APRIL 22 from 4-7 for Vestavia Hills Wing Ding – a day of fun competition where we put our title on the line and our Loan Officer chefs to the test. Let us know if you’re coming, stop by our tent to try some wings, and vote for the defending Peoples and Judges Champion! Method Mortgage has been involved in the Wing Ding which benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since the Wing Ding’s start.
