Clyde is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Accounting. Prior to joining Method Mortgage, he was the manager and sole lender in the Birmingham-based Loan Production Office (LPO) of an Alabama-based community bank. Before opening this LPO in Birmingham, he was a Sr. Loan Officer for a large southeastern mortgage company where he was consistently recognized as the company’s leading producer.

He has been involved in the Mortgage Banking Industry in Birmingham since 1993, and has obtained the CLO (the State of Alabama Certified Loan Officer) and ARML (Alabama Residential Mortgage Lender) designations. He is a lifetime member of the Auburn University Alumni Association, and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Birmingham-Jefferson County Auburn Club. He has been affiliated with the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce, the Homewood Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Birmingham Association of Realtors, and the Birmingham Homebuilders Association.

Clyde’s passions outside of work include being a volunteer softball coach, golf, working in his yard, and attending Auburn University sporting events.

Clyde and his wife, Tricia, have 4 children, 1 grandchild, and are active members of Covenant Presbyterian Church, where they serve as children’s Sunday School teachers and he is a member of the Diaconate.
